The Future Leaders Awards recognise and reward young Australians who have shown strong leadership and potential. The Awards also aim to inspire others to engage in environmental and community issues and make a difference.

Future Leaders Awards 2021

Helen Handbury Leadership Award

The Helen Handbury Leadership Awards mark the outstanding contribution that the late Mrs Helen Handbury has made to community development in rural & regional Australia. The Awards recognise Year 12 students in rural & regional Australia who have shown outstanding community leadership.
The award winners will receive funding towards an international trip to experience community development in another culture.

Future Leaders Writing Prize

The Future Leaders Writing Prize is designed to recognise and reward talented young writers. It aims to encourage expressive and creative writing.
Australian Year 11 and 12 students are invited to submit a piece of writing (800 to 1,000 words).
The essays can be fiction or non-fiction and on any topic.

The Future Leaders Future Justice Award recognises Year 12 students who have shown leadership and initiative on intergenerational equity, future justice.
Future justice is concerned with what those living today leave behind for future generations.

Future Leaders Jazz Award 2021

Future Leaders Jazz Award 2021

The Future Leaders Jazz Award is designed to expose talented young musicians (18 to 30 Years) to international jazz performers and networks.

The finalists will come from the various undergraduate and professional level performance music programs in Victoria. The final judging will be held at Alliance Française de Melbourne in April 2021.
